Selamat Hari Raya 'Eid-ul-Adha (عيد الأضحى)

Today, our Muslim brothers and sisters in Malaysia celebrate 'Eid-ul-Adha on the tenth day of the Islamic Hijri calendar, Dhu-l-Hijjah (ذوالحجة), 1444 AH. On this special day, cows, sheep, and goats are sacrificed to commemorate the Prophet Ibrahim's obedience to Allah's commandment - the sacrifice of his own son, Prophet Ismail.

From all of us here, Selamat Hari Raya!

Here's why we celebrate 'Eid-ul-Adha. A khutbah by Nouman Ali Khan.
